September is National Recovery Month

Rochester Recovers is a place to connect with resources across our community.
Recovery is for everyone: Every person. Every family. Every community.

We’re Spreading Recovery Across Rochester!

During National Recovery Month, Rochester’s two nonprofit Recovery Community Organizations (RCOs), Recovery Is Happening and Doc’s Recovery House, partnered to develop a yard sign to advocate for recovery in front yards across Rochester, breaking down the stigma of substance use disorder and spreading the message that Recovery Is Possible.

Bring #recovery to your front yard and purchase a yard sign today. You can pick-up yard signs in person at Doc’s Recovery House or Recovery is Happening and can pay cash in person or pay online through Doc’s Recovery House.

Pricing: $20 for one / $35 for two
*Proceeds cover the cost of printing the signs.

“National Recovery Month (Recovery Month), which started in 1989, is a national observance held every September to promote and support new evidence-based treatment and recovery practices, the nation’s strong and proud recovery community, and the dedication of service providers and communities who make recovery in all its forms possible."
